Cats are fascinating creatures, and even though they have adapted easily to a domecticated life, they still retain many of the traits of their wild ancestors and will readily revert to a feral state should the situation arise. Most of our domestic cats are well fed and watered, but even so they still retain an atavistic instinct to hunt and continue to seek out prey, though now more for fun than necessity. For this, they remain well equipped with pointed teeth and razor-sharp claws ; their eyesight is second to none and allows them to see in almost total darkness.
