HOW TO LOOK FOR IN A HEALTHY KITTEN

1 - NOSE should be clean with no discharge or sneezing

2 - MOUTH breath should be pleasant-smeeling, the theeth straight and white and the gums
pink

3 - COAT should be clean and shiny, with no bald itchy patches. Check for evidence of fleas

4 - BODY should be symmetrical and well grown. Body movement should be agile and supple

5 - EARS should be clean and pink inside, free from discharge or redness and with no pleasant
odour.

6 - EYES should be clear and bright, and the under lids should be a healthy pink. There
should be no redness or watering

7 - ANUS should be free from swelling or irritation as well as clean and dry

8 - SKIN should be clean and free from dandruft , blemishes and sore patches

9 - LIMBS there should be no evidence of lameness. The kitten should be able to stand
squarely and should be active and fluid in all his movement
